Shung-Hsi

Hi,

I'm Shung-Hsi — a Kernel Engineer living in Taitung, Taiwan 🇹🇼, working with eBPF. Before that, I worked on web crawlers, building data pipelines and managing Infrastructures, everything from hardware to the operating system.

A bit more about myself:

  • Grew up in Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
  • Obtained M.S. in Information, Network and Computer Security in New York City.
  • I work mostly in C, though my programming language of choice is Python. I've also played around with Typescript (type checking is a godsend), Javascript, and Java for some of my side-project.
  • Some topics that I find myself spending hours reading on Reddit and Hacker News are Linux Kernel, Distributed Systems, Kubernetes, and Software Verification.
